How PURE do we want to be?

Postby Dean-Atlanta » Sat Jul 15, 2023 10:08 am

It depends how PURE that PNFL wants to be...

Do we require ONLY current NFL teams and move them when the real life team moves? Do the Chicago Cardinals have to become the Arizona Cardinals or the Chicago Bears? Does Anaheim have to move the Rams to LA? Does Washington have to become the "Commanders" because Danial Snyder ditched the Redskins name?

I'll know it when I see it :)

Thus far, nobody has tried to take it that far.
And there will never be a Washington Commanders while I'm here.
Redskins and that logo is iconic!

I need to find out who is the voodoo person in the league. They conjured up a rain game and I had to be hexed with all the injuries this season. I know there is a voodoo doll out there with pins in it some where. No other way to explain the sudden change at mid year. Definitely an evil spell put on the team

You and I are in the same boat, Jerry.

I've invited the Ghost Adventures crew to our facility to see if they can uncover anything.

I think we need to at least limit it to the cities in the game.

On the actual topic. You all know I believe in the "PNFL". We should keep it to actual NFL teams in my opinion. I actually hate all the franchise moving as well. I like history over time. Oh, it also is cluttering up the play files with 50 team initials for just a few owners.

Also makes it difficult in scouting, but that may be a good thing for those teams. =)

I've got a fix for that Jerry and Matt...

Use the coach's initials for play naming...

We will not start allowing all the crazy names going forward.
The last 2 (Chicago/Anaheim) were not much of a stretch and have caused no harm.
