Gentlemen, I have been considering a new play type, the Goal Line Lob Pass! In the NFL we have all seen the QB drop back and lob a pass over the defender in the back of the End Zone. As such, I would like you to consider and comment on this thread. The QB must stay between the Tackles and can be under the Center or in a semi or regular Shotgun. The intended receiver must not be beyond 5 yards of the LOS in the Play Editor when he makes the catch. The play can be used anytime currently permitted for a GLP within the current rules. The naming scheme would be the team initials, "gp", "Lob" and receiver designation (e.g. SFgpLobX). If there is sufficient interest, I will accept such new plays starting in Week #6.
Opinions?

Re: New Play Type Proposal
I think the one thing to try is to actually create one and test it as a GLP play.

This makes me think of the 1-6 goal line pass in NFL Challenge... any of you remember or ever played that game in the 1980s?

I am working on them, just like I did with the Razzle Dazzle Lob. It all depends on what the defense calls, just like the Raz Daz Lob.

As long as it's optional and not too op, I'm ok with it.
