*gets some popcorn* By the way keep my name out of this. We all know I am horrible at trading.

I think you did well in the WR Eskridge trade.

Any commentary from the Fire-sale Falcons can’t be taken seriously at this point.

Re: Team Hate
If you think trading five players, and getting more in return for them, is a fire sale then I suggest that you may be detached from reality.

The Kansas City at Atlanta game this coming season will be more fun.

Re: Team Hate
I'm going to own my mistake. After further evaluation, Dean is correct that I gave up too much for WR Cedrik Wilson. Rated #71 overall in the league per Mitch's spreadsheet he was not worth a 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th pick. Fortunately it's not an expensive king's ransom. I will recover from this.
Now, Dean can you admit you should have kept Justin Fields? Can you admit you traded him away unnecessarily as a knee jerk reaction to one bad performance?

I have no doubt you will recover from that. I pointed out that trade, not because it is typical of the trades you generally make but quite the opposite, I was surprised you had paid that much for WR Wilson. Most of your moves are quite solid, and only a team that over pays for players too often will find themselves having a lot of recover from.
I should have kept Justin Fields and I certainly could have done that. However, it was reaction to more than one performance, not just the Super Bowl, that I had a knee jerk reaction to. And that still may be unfair because a few bad performances (SB 44, Week 16 2041 vs GB, Week 1 2039 vs Jax, etc.) stand out in a way that may overshadow many solid performances but maybe they should not overshadow those solid performances. I was looking at career stats in the league files and the numbers on Justin Fields are quite respectable for someone who started 3 seasons:
Justin Fields 1520 att 896 comp 9508 yds 6.2 avg 70 TD 30 INT 85.7 rating
And likewise, I will recover from this. I did get value for him. If I had reacted so much that I dumped him into the FA poll you would be justified in making a major issue of criticism on this on at least two levels. At least I didn't end up with starting Nathan Peterman or Brett Rypien as my QB this season, and I had obtained Trey Lance before trading Fields. There is not reason, given how close they are in skill ratings, that Trey Lance can't do as well.
