I think someone over reacted to a rain game. You can never look at rain game results.

Re: Justin Fields headed to Chicago
The main knock against Fields when looking at his attributes is his EN. However, having watched him finish strong game after game down the stretch this season I am convinced it is not an issue.
By my count in the 4th quarter of that Super Bowl he was 8/10 for 225 yards, 2 TDs, and a pick, all while being sacked 5 times.
I didn't recognize the degree of similarity between Lance and him, until it was posted in this thread. I think Lance will fit really well into Atlanta's offense.

That was the old Chiefs before me, I was Pittsburgh when KC drafted Lamar Jackson.
Steve-LA Chargers wrote:Everyone forgets QB Lamar Jackson was originally drafted by the Chiefs. It's more of a reunion acquisition. I know Dean loves his QB to have high AG, but Jackson has more SP, better DI, and most importantly, better EN. Lance is basically Fields without the 96 ST.

Re: Justin Fields headed to Chicago
At this point the QB Justin Fields trade has become:
QB Justin Fields for T Luke Goedeke, TE Jacob Breeland and picks numbers 60th,71st, 77th, 78th and 89th, which are all 4th/5th round picks.
The more that I get good value for those picks, and Trey Lance matches (or exceeds?) the performance of Justin Fields in 2041 (minus the SB disaster), the better this trade looks.
