Re: 2041 Awards
QB Eric Barriere as rookie of the year is definitely spot on.
For Coach of the Year I would vote for Jerry for going 13-3 and being the most winning team this season.

I'd vote for Coach Perez in New Orleans. I believe he nearly doubled his win total, earned 10 wins, and made the playoffs for the 1st time.

It would be nice if we could vote on these ourselves.

Re: 2041 Awards
We used to do this for a bunch of years and then it seemed to lose steam and we went back to the game picking them.

Re: 2041 Awards
It is interesting how badly the game chooses COY especially.
Not a knock on Thomas but this was not his year.
Yet, in other years he could have easily won it and it was given to someone else.
Back in the 2002 season, I went 16-0 (3-0), scored the most points, gave up the fewest points, had 4 shutouts (all 3 were records at the time) and I did not win COY.
It actually went to Walter-GB who had a solid year but
If people want to go back to voting for these awards, that's fine going forward.
As for the player awards, I try to pretend that in this fictional universe there is data we don't get to see or know about.
Maybe the players stats are not the best but he had intangibles that we could not see.
I liken it to 1988 MVP in baseball when Kirk Gibson won it.
He was not the best player that year, his numbers were good but not great but he was seem as inspirational, probably had clutch hits down the stretch and won it.

I think we should trying voting on them. I think we can have some reasonably objective criteria for which p[layers and coachews make the ballot, then we simply vote on them by submitting votes to you as we now submit our weekly picks.

I still think I should have won CoY last year. That being said I think we should just let the game decided. I don't think there is any reason to have everyone vote for something so meaningless. Heck if you don't want the Game to do it. I say just let Rich decide.

Re: 2041 Awards
COY is the only one where the game always messed it up.
We could vote or Charlie and I could select one.
But it really doesn't matter unless we attach a reward for winning it.
Perhaps a top 3, getting 3-2-1 points for 1st/2nd/3rd
I kinda like these types of rewards given that I am reducing points each year.
I'd prefer a system where teams get their points by earning them.
