Training Camp

Postby Tim-Colts » Thu Aug 25, 2022 9:07 pm

So I have been looking around the site to understand the training camp rules. Since most players only have 0 - 4 points of growth potential, I assume you can dump most or all of the 60% that is excess (100% total - 5% x 8 attributes (40%) leaves 60% to allocate) into 1 or more attributes? Is there a max amount?

Also do we use camp complete and do individual training camps or position training camps?

We use Camp complete with individual camps. Min 5 Max 65. Up to you after that. Make sure to pay attention to the math. You can get an extra point somewhere else maybe. 81 to 83 needs only 25% to get the 1 point increase 82 to 84 needs 30% to do it as an example. The game rounds to even.

Cool, thanks for the help. I have already observed the odd prod even Steven rule in the past. I do think it was good to remind everyone though. Good luck to all the teams in the up and coming season.

Thanks,
Tim

Only way to make it always round up is by processing camp with the Roster Viewer app. Mine still works and I could run camp for the entire league, but I don't think the commishes want this. I think they like that Camp Complete's defect helps to suppress stats.

I would avoid that like the plague. That app has issues that can corrupt the league files if we use it for official stuff.

It is not a defect. It is just following standard rounding rules. Of course, I do sit and do math all day every day. So I do not even have to think about it
