NY Jets
Jacksonville
Indianapolis (PHI)
New England

Los Angeles
Oakland
Minnesota
Seattle
Denver (CIN) (open)

Detroit
Washington
NY Giants
Dallas (GB) (open)

Chicago
Atlanta (KC)
New Orleans
San Francisco
Carolina

With how competitive the open teams are, this would be a balanced alignment.

The only point I say against this is what Rich drew up has 4 active teams in each divisions.1

If one is going strictly by data, this keeps balance tp put Atlanta in the NFC West since , historically over the last few seasons, CPU teams using Jerry's PPPs for them. have won more games than my teams have most of those seasons. So exchanging ATL and Dal (GB) at least on paper makes the NFC East a little stronger. It makes more sense to have Atlanta in the NFC East, and to trade in open GB for Dallas, for the purpose of getting a new coach for the team.

This remains as simple as any other plan, without shuffling 12 teams, and it makes the most sense overall of all the proposed realignments.

If I ever decide to change franchise names, it will likely be to Tampa Bay so I can bring back the "Creamsicle" uniforms.

That way when you start to lose you can have quotes like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K9fCJhgSzI

With Cincy now open, I'm in favor of moving an active coach in Indy to the AFC East (so the Jets don't get the bonus of playing an open team), moving Cincy (renamed to KC or Denver) to the AFC West, and moving Atlanta to the NFC East.

That works and if Rich wants to follow the "KISS" rule on realignment, that would be the way to do it.

KISS solution implemented! Cheers! 8-)
