I don't see it happening or being a benefit to the league to cut rounds of the draft. If people feel 5 6 and 7 th round picks have no value then just give them to me. :) If I have them all I can make those round last a few rounds no problem :)

I wanted 0 point signing for rookies free agents after the draft from the beginning since that way they can get a TC.

I prefer all 7 rounds.
If you want to make it more interesting, how about adding some randomness to this.
Expand the lottery system but also add in busts.
Instead of 6 bonus players, make it 12 bonus and 6 busts or some combo.
Or just leave it alone :)
