Quiet Forum

Postby Mitch-Oilers » Sun Nov 07, 2021 6:04 am

It has been quiet. No rules change proposals, no trash talk, only a small handful of FA signings...

It's obvious the league office is out to sabotage the Raiders. They still haven't gotten over Al Davis' law suit from the '80s. I mean, just look at our schedule. We have 6 of our first 7 games on the road and they have schedule 3 of our "home games" in London, Mexico City and Berlin.

It doesn't matter though. We will take on any team, anytime, anywhere...

We are the real America's team!

I think the Vegas move has opened a lot of opportunities for young rich men to make questionable decisions and yes the league appears to have a long memory

I confess, I was trying to bury the Raiders with that schedule.
But you seem to have benefitted from Barney & Steve both trying to secure the #1 pick in the 2040 draft.
And now that a crappy Braves team won the world series, I'm even more angry.

Chop Chop!!

Speaking of rule changes, I haven't dug deep into the numbers, but have the rule changes designed to create better passing stats had an impact. At glance, it doesn't seem to have made much of an impact. The teams that were good at passing before the changes are still good and the teams that were bad at passing before the changes are still bad.

At 3-3 the Chiefs are falling out of contention for the #1 pick in 2040, that the Chiefs don't hold anyway...

The 2039 #1 pick is on our roster because we drafted the best player available in that draft.
