We have had a run of really competitive seasons with the only major change the $$ Cap. Seems it may have impacted trading. The commish is slowly spreading out the players attributes some the last few drafts. While I am going to comment on my positions with the ideas. I really just want to be like Shawn. Lets just play ball. Too much rule change talk for me. It's too much of a pain to constantly change the rules and have to sort out how to configure the roster. If we hate the $$ Cap, then lets just say scrap it and keep it buried moving forward never to be seen or heard from again. We have the tried and true points system still in place. If we keep it, its time to resign players and get our Free Agency on. We just made decisions on who to keep, age, etc. I don't want a different strategy constantly.
I want to prep for FA and the draft. I have a title to defend and I'm ready to press.

I am 100% with this. I just want suggesting to stream down to just playing football and get rid of the rest.

Finally some sense...
Announce the 2037 cap already, and let's get it on!

Re: Too much Talk
All I suggested was, we need to do something about TRADING.
If nobody trades or thinks it has value, we will continue into a death spiral.
Okay, how about a cap of 600 million.
The cap number will be out this weekend, leaning toward 400-600m.

Re: Too much Talk
I want to clarify my rant in case it was misinterpreted. It is about nit picking every aspect of the league and going on and on. The league is in pretty good in my opinion, but Rich is correct above. The $$ cap is the likely culprit of lower trading and movement. It is also more work. I do not want to go on and on about all the rules, but if folks want more trading which has dropped, we should be able to quickly agree and make the $$ cap go away. As I noted before, the points has served us well for tons of seasons. Drop the $$ cap and go back to the points as they are and we can press. I just want to play and study the draft.............

Re: Too much Talk
My only concern would be that any changes be postponed a season to allow people to prepare for it and go into an off season knowing what they are trying to do. Alternatively, we would need to take a week or so to allow everyone to figure out where they are and prepare...

I have given up way too much I would never have given up without a cap. My team has become a shade of the one I built over many seasons. I would prefer everything stay as is so others can suffer too.

I feel your pain on this one
My 2033 I went 8-8 with probably the best roster in the league
