New Coach + Old Coach

Postby Barney - Vikings » Mon Jul 20, 2020 6:55 pm

Gentlemen-

I am excited to announce that I’ve been named Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings (cue “The Immigrant Song”). I’m bringing along as my defensive coordinator Luther Van Dam, er I mean Rob Boysen.I look forward to competing in the greatest football league in the world, THE PNFL!!!
I’m sure you will all go easy on me in my rookie season ;)

I would be the "Old Coach" in both real and virtual life.

Barney, as he likes to be called, is a good coach... and a good guy... as I have come to appreciate while competing against him in the XFBS. Barney is well known to those of you in the XFBS as he has defeated most of us at one time or another. I won't discuss his XFBS standing this season as I don't want to jinx him. But, I am sure he will be a good addition to the PNFL.

We are both relatively inexperienced in off-season work. I told him it is a PNFL tradition that other teams would offer their best young players to him as a welcome gift, so I hope you don't prove me wrong.

I will continue as an old, technology-challenged assistant coach.

PS... I played FBPro for many years on a PC like the one in the link above (and still have it).

Welcome Barney! Glad to see you joined the PNFL. Warning PNFL: You guys are going to lose a lot of games to the Vikings. :P

Now, can someone please move that team out of the AFC West so they play the Packers twice a year instead of the Chargers.
