The NFL Redskins have sold out to political correctness and will be abandoning their name and millions of fans...
What will happen to the PNFL Redskins?
Jerry's choice?
Will the Chiefs ell out next?

Re: Redskins?
The Chiefs were originally the Dallas Texans...
We currently have the Houston Texans in the NFL...
would my team have the option of becoming the Houston Texans?
Or the Houston Oilers (Rich's old team) because of helmets available in FBPro98?

Re: Redskins?
There are no other helmets available inside the game, impossible to change.
So, I hope Jerry does not feel the need to change his team name since this "outrage" is fake to begin with.

Whining all the way to the championship game. With all the turmoil, who knows what the name will be. On the boards I'm part of Redwolves is the favorite

At this point, might as well become the Washington Reds. Not because the the Republicans are red states either.

No idea who will win the game, but getting there is harder in many ways

Re: Redskins?
I know this will never happen, but I'd like to see the Washington Robins
why?
-orthographically similar (two syllables, starts with R)
-bird name that's not used in pro sports, although popular, good contrast to nearby Baltimore Ravens
-uniforms could be cool looking pewter gray and reddish brown, maybe a robin's egg blue alternate?
-Native American mythological significance
-"how about that Robins ground game?"
