For the record, I don't mind aging, but I don't see a system that would work. Also, I was building things off what we started, which was 100% anti-aging. I don't think there is a good way to make it easier and close to accurate.

Donovon,
The whole physical thing was supposed to work simply. There were no roll transfers. The problem comes in when everything seems to get twisted.

This was how the end of the season was suppose to go
After the Super Bowl, before cuts, any free agent 4+ in Free Agent pool is purged. (could even be done before the Super Bowl)
Teams cut down to a 53-man roster. If the game retires the player at this point, they are gone.
Rich does physical rolls.
Boom dones all coaches have to do is is cut to 53.

It wasn't so complicated.

The problem is people needed transfers, and then Rich and Charle decided who was cut when cutting down to 53 needed to be purged. This really just adds more work and headaches.

James, wake up call.
You coach, I run the league.
I do what is best for the league.
I have no recollection of promising anything to you.
But, even if I did say we would do XYZ and then did ABC, it was for the good of the league.
This has always been my plan to retire players in greater numbers.

If you can't see that this league needs this offset, then I am not sure what to tell you.

Side A : teams get 100% assurance no player under the protected age EVER retires early
Teams also get these same players play at MAX attributes.

Side B : Very likely older players will retire at 5%-8% earlier than they did in 2047

If you want players to play longer and longer then let me randomly retire younger players on your rosters.
Let me attribute age players randomly.
I doubt anyone would vote yes to any of that.

Now I remember...
The transfers

James, do you know why we added transfers?
Because there would be no physicals without them.
You are not the only coach in this league, others also have opinions.
I was trying to herd 18 cats and some were not thrilled with your system as laid out.
But, you don't care about that detail.
I have to negotiate with other coaches to get it done.
So, I am sorry we did not use your precious system as designed but I have other coaches to massage to make it work.
Guess what, it does work and the transfers are actually good for the process.

I didn't know you know everything. I am sorry. I will no longer question the great and all-knowing Rich.

Please pick a team in the league and shit out a PPP without simming against me, and let's go. You will probably win, but I think you would be surprised at how not an easy win I would be.

As for transfers, why not just make it a rule? You have done it on every other aspect, not caring one bit what others think.

I like the transfers.
I do not remember who suggested it but it was a great idea and big success.
Take a poll and see who wants to get rid of them.
My bet is 15-3 to keep transfers.
And, the transfer also does exactly what you want to see more of.
It gives a coach the opportunity to keep preserving DE Myles Garrett or someone like him.
Mark could have added some vets to his roster before week one for just this purpose.
Smart GMs can plan ahead and target who they want to hopefully keep.

And, nobody can coach in this league and also do what I do behind the scenes.
If I did, I'd be a .500 coach
Dare I say Charlie would be a better coach if he did not spend hours on all the custom plays.

And, thank you for the compliment :)
I am not all-knowing but I know more about running this league and coaching in this league than most.
You sit in Michigan? tossing out great ideas. I appreciate that.
But, someone has to figure how to make them work with 18 coaches.
Not you, but me.
You can be pissed, but its' the reality.

I am done being used and abused. I am just going to abuse whatever rules I can. For as long as it is fun, which, the way it is going days are numbered. I even gave the Discord to Mitch so when I leave it will be a complete and clean break. I honestly truly regret giving you those ideas, seeing what you did with them. I will also never trust anything you tell me.

For the record, I am not pissed. I just think I gave you really good systems, and you have no idea what you are doing.

I think Justin or Barney recommended the roll transfers.
