I think removing bad plays is a good idea. I would really like to see copies in the same categoy removed or atleast label so you can use more than one in a game plan.

The relative average success of a play is not a reason to cut it. It does not statistically show whether it has a use in the right circumstance. The fact no one found a circumstance to every use it is better proof.

I think Jerry is right ab out this, we all determine for ourselves and our coaching methods what stats make a play effective or not depending on how we use them in our game plans.

The only proper way t o purge plays is to target the ones not used in the last 5 seasons, and categories with fewer plays in them, that are not called very often (like RR, RRD, GLR, GLP on defense) would be spared from being purged.

But for the categories with lots of plays in them, like PML offense or PM defense, purging would weed out unused plays. Any play a team wants to use the gets purged, can be re-submitted to Charlie.

I also think, with the next purge, the "illegal" plays left should be cleaned up and brought into compliance with current rules.

Hopefully you don't run into the same issues I did. I could create a GamePlan and a Profile, but it errored out when I tried to use in sims. Please make sure you test this thoroughly.

For me the big issue is getting rid of "clones" or atleast name them so you can't use more than one of a clone in a game plan. Clones just feel like a way to get around not being able to have a play twice in the pool

hmmm did the plans and profiles load in the game? I am wondering if you open and resave tehm in the game would it fix the crashing. I just really want this to work because it might keep me playing longer.
