I have 96 and 97 work. I have 95 loaded and most functions work well.

What am I missing here?
So you run plays more effectively in some other version than '98. How does that help when we run the games in '98?

@Charlie - I just tinker with the other versions for fun. I don't use them to create content for the PNFL. I know some functions of PPP creation are transferable between versions because I've copied some VPNFL material into the other versions.

@ Mitch What is transferable from '98 to '95? It would be fun to have a solitaire VPNFL '95 league.

@Neil - I don't remember exactly, but I believe I was able to load and save profiles from 98 into the earlier vetsion without much problem.
The issue became with the plays. I can't remember why, but i believe when i added a play from 98 to a plan in 95 or 96, it diagram would show. I can't remember if thats because I loaded tge plays straight from tge VPNFL folder or if i had dave the play in the earlier version format. Probably the forner...

I just can't seem to get FBPRO96 to run in DOSBOX... it installed for says can't find CD when I type HIKE. Neither Virtual Box nor VMWare can get windows 98 or 95 running.... seriously does 98 put out the same quality plays as the earlier versions?

OK. Finally. 96 is up and running. I ultimately found a program called D-Fend Reloaded. Use it to install from a 96 CD then add it to the library after installation. It works with Dos Box. Anyway, my 2 day OCD episode is over and I can go back to the 90's.

I would love to go back to the 90's or 80's even. Gas below $1 would definitely be worth it! To answer your question, I haven't submitted plays in this league yet, but I've always used the 98 editor to do any play editing/creation. I haven't really thought about moving files between 96,97, and 98 in some time, and have only carried one copy of the game these years.

I've only used FBPRO98 when creating plays for the PNFL.
