Kicker Attributes

I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again, kickers should be rated above 90 for every attribute, with the exception of speed. The game has a flaw, and we should do everything we can to overcome it. That said, fans of several NFL teams wish they weren’t watching their kicker shank chip shots this season. Adam Vinatieri ring a bell?

Having your QB spike the ball or not on 3rd down is controlled by editing the profiles in a pretty straightforward way.

And for what it’s worth, I also hate the required third defense. It is a pain, although the thought behind it that Charlie explained is sound.

Well, we tried to fix this problem many, many season ago by making DI & IN both 99 max POT, hoping that would give him the accuracy that we wanted, and making his ST 99 so he could try the long ones. Since we only have a total of 34 Kickers in the League, attribute boosts should be relatively easy for Rich. If we boost everyone equally across the board, then everyone maintains their relative position. And, I can set up the attributes accordingly for the upcoming Draft. As such, I propose the following:

Current max AC is 71 and I propose raising current ACTs and POTs by +19 to a max of 90;
Current max AG is 61 and I propose raising current ACTs and POTs by +19 to a max of 80;
Current max HA is 56 and I propose raising current ACTs and POTs by +14 to a max of 70;
Current max HA is 55 and I propose raising current ACTs and POTs by +5 to a max of 60;
Current max EN is 90 and I propose leaving this category as is.

Please post your opinions! ;)

I am in favor of ANY move that makes the kicking more accurate. I would vote yes on this

We need to test some attribute changes to kickers.
It is frustrating to see how many short FGs are missed.

I don't see this increasing accuracy any. What it will do is decrease blocks. I vote no.

I dont believe it can be fixed. Honestly, has anyone seen a successful FG attempt when the LOS is inside the D5?
