Attribute Changes
If we are going to do this, let's do it in this off-season! Post your ideas here and we will debate through it.

Re: Attribute Changes
I think the principle is to have a the players more varied themselves in distribution rather than changing the attributes themselves. The results on the field seem to be good. Just too many players close to the top. That is getting better I think. The last few drafts are not nearly as deep. and the best player at a position may be quite a bit down from the top.

Re: Attribute Changes
In case you had not noticed, I started a new algorithm two seasons ago with a couple of results: first, no more than two players at each position have POTs that rank in the top 25 in the League, and the second of those two are close to the 25th position; second, some POTs actually come in at the max, which allows a few Rookies to be starters (after Training Camp). I will tweak the differentials a little more this Draft.
BTW, the older Vets make for compression at the top positions. The idea of allowing each team a maximum of one or two players to protect their attributes and or unretire is a good idea. Better still, you are allowed two players, which can be attribution protection, unretire, or one of each.

Re: Attribute Changes
Charlie, I know you and Jerry have begun the process with the drafts but it's not quite enough.
In a perfect world, all teams CBs speed would look something like this...
83-82-80-79-77-76-74 (players could and would still have high pots)
Same for all attributes across all positions.
A clear CB#1 #2 #7 ect
Wide variety of attributes.
We see in the min max table a huge spread of attributes that we all have ignored.
Players drafted into our league basically have 90%+++ of their total attribute points.
But I am aware that is impossible to achieve what I envision the way our drafts, anti aging, and unretirement rules are.
It's nearly impossible. Or it would take 10-15 seasons or 5-8 real years.
So while I fully agree with the attribute issue, It would require rule changes that many might hate.

BTW, the other thing that I do is key on the NFL first round! If they draft eigh CBs in the 1st round, then you are going to have more good CBs for two seasons (four in the first PNFL draft and four in the second PNFL draft) for that NFL draft year. For example, usually I only have one really good DT each Draft. This year the NFL took six in the 1st Round and seven DEs. So, there will be a lot of good DLs in this last and next Draft. Only one CB in the 1st round, but a bunch is the 2nd. CBs will be thin in our upcoming Draft, etc., etc., etc.
