Training Camp Myth?

Postby Moxs - Patriots » Sat Feb 25, 2023 11:16 am

Although it does not apply to the PNFL, in-game Roster Slots have a big impact on retirement results.
Along that idea, I seem to remember reading along time ago on one of the FBPro98 sites that Roster slots also had an impact on Training Camp Results. I can't remember whether it was documented or not.
Also since we use Camp Complete maybe the point is moot?

Anyway, the question is do roster slot placement have an impact on training camp results?

I don't think it does, but any roster slot preference the game would have for TC should be negated by using Camp Complete and going with individual training versus group training. For the most part the game uses a formula to determine ratings increases which I believe many of us already know. For the game to do what you propose, it would have to use some kind of weights in the formula which would have had to have been negated by Camp Complete to get the individual camps to work correctly.

Remember also with Camp Complete...

84.0 + 0.5 = 84.0

85.0 + 0.5 = 86.0
