The PNFL does not use money for signing players, we use a point system.
Each season teams are allocated points. With these points you will re-sign your own players, sign free agents, pay for your rookies, and spend on anti-aging. There is a weekly opportunity to earn 1 point each week with our betting lines. But your allocation each new season is where the bulk come from. Points are now allowed to be traded with some restriction to be covered later.

Here is the Points allocation chart...



Each team is given 65 points regardless of record.

This chart also covers the cost of draft picks. Higher the pick, higher the cost.
For example, the #1 pick in the draft will cost 7 points. And will work down to 3 points for late 1st rd picks.
All 2nd rd picks will cost 2 pts, 3rd rd cost 1 point.
All picks 4th-7th rd are free.

Restructuring Contracts/Point Cost

1 year = 2.5 points
2 years = 4 points
3 years = 6 points
4 years = 7.5 points
5 years = 9 points
6 years = 10.5 points
7 years = 12 points
8 years = 13 points
9 years = 14 points
10 years = 15 points

Beginning with the 2039 season, the Points allotment will be reduced from 65 to 63.
As with the salary cap changing yearly, the points need to also be adjusted as we go.

2040 points allotment = 60

2042 points allotment = ??
