It is a continuing the trend to spread out the players. Should make for more roster management decisions

As I think about it, continuing to lower the draft pool ratings should give an advantage to the non-playoff teams. Since there will be fewer superatars to draft, the teams with the worst records should be getting the picks of the litter.
Of course, that is if they don't trade all their picks to good teams.

Re: PNFL News Special - Draft Pool Comparison
When trading draft picks it is easy to be optimistic and think your team wins 9-11 games next season and that first round pick next season is 9th or 10 or lower and the team trading for it values it higher than that think your team will lose 10-12 game sand pick 4th or 5th in the round. But Jacksonville has the fewest wins this last season and it's picks are first in the round. Here is that trade:
Jaguars trade
1st rd (2043)
2nd rd (2043)
Jets trade
#13
3rd rd (2043)
Jax traded what is now the 1st and 19th picks over all for a 13th in the 2042 draft (which he selected S Lewis Cine) and the 54th overall pick in 2043.
I would say it is likely the value of what Thomas selects 1st and 19 will probably exceed the value of S Lewis Cine and the player that is draft with the last pick in the 3rd round of the upcoming draft.
This trade was like a trip to the casino where the Jets did was well as the house normally does in the instance of most visits to the casino.
