The Thorazine Trash Talk

Postby Dean-Atlanta » Tue Jul 05, 2022 3:25 pm

I'll move this tot he forum as Charlie suggested

James said in email:

I remember more you kept talking crap wanting to make you vs me a thing. I was more focus on trying to catch up with Thomas, Lee, and Justin level. I said that I was more focus on catch up to the gooo coaches not clashing with an average one. I kept saying you should spend more time becoming a better coach than worrying about trying to trash talk. You called me crazy then etc.

I don't rmember how it got started but I rmember both bantered back and forth tot he point it got stupid on BOTH sides. Either one of us could have said whatever, I'm going to focus on beating the team I'm playing this weekend.

AS for who is on the "level" you refer to, clearly the most likely of us to win a game any given weekend are Thomas and Justin. The rest of us are in the "on any given Sunday" category that can win games, occasionally upset Thomas or Justin, and just as easily LOSE a game to anyone, including the newer guys like Frederic, Tim or Bryan. If you're one of the other 16 of us and you think you're above the "on any given Sunday" category, you're just feeding yourself resting powders. It will NOT take another 20 seasons before my team appears in post-season again.

Thanks. Good luck with staying in that division, things get much tougher for yiu soon. James has 47 (by my cunt) draft picks n the next two drafts to re-load his team with solid talent, and that combined with the coaching he has done this season with what is the 18th strongest roster in the league, will make him a serious threat to win the division every season. And Seattle is going to continue getting more competitive each season too.

KC under James winning the division and the Jets winning the AFC Est with Jax and Seattle as wildcards, and Oak, Min, and LA playing golf week 17...yeah that's very possible.

I might be getting out of the division at just the right time.

Let's be clear you can beat me any given Sunday but even when I am not planning you don't win 50% of the time against me. The only time you had really any real success against me was when I blew up my team and Jerry gave you a ready made team. All but 2 season you have finished under 8 wins. It's ok little cousin. You can talk a little bit you did win last time I played.

Oh and as I predicted a double digit loss. Just one more to go.

Ready made team?

Look at the rosters. Exactly 19, NINETEEN, of the players from Jerry's roster remained on my Atlanta roster after an active off-season of trading and drafting.

NINETEEN.

So much for Ready Made.

Is James becoming KC and coming to the AFC West? Basically James and Dean swapping divisions in the offseason? I missed this somehow.

Yes. It will be official right after week 16 games. James will be KC and I will be Detroit and move the team to Atlanta. The goalline defense plays was named AT46GLP1 for a reason.

2 things:

1) I like our division right now. It's good competition, good natured bantering and fun. I hate that you are leaving.

2) Why are you and James switching rosters and not just switching conferences?

First season went 11-5
seconds season 5-11
next 6 4 or less wins.

You win 2-4 game a year on good years you might get up to 6. then every 15 seasons you make the playoffs.

Jerry took over your team went
2-14
4-12
7-9
8-8
3-13
since than never below 8-8 and only missed the playoff 2 seasons.

19 players that almost full starting Defense and offense.
