Well, we now have three owners on record in a different Thread that wants to revert back to the two-category requirement for the entire game, rather than the current three-category requirement with more than five minutes to go in each half.
I would like to see those opinions posted here, and anyone else that would like to voice an opinion on the topic.

Re: Defensive Profiles
I am in favor of this. It is less time consuming to prepare, and also gives the coach more control.

Re: Defensive Profiles
I was in favor of 3 categories when we started this season. After playing a year with 3 categories, I now wish to move back to 2 categories.

Re: Defensive Profiles
So obviously this thread received almost no votes at all but everyone I saw give an opinion one way or another seemed to want to go back to 2 categories.
Anyway, just looking for clarification one way or another before the start of the season

Thank you for re-posting Dan, I missed this the first time around. My vote is for two categories.

Re: Defensive Profiles
2 is fine on defensive profiles I still favor three on offense.

Re: Defensive Profiles
Not sure when or where we discussed this, but I thought that we agreed to TWO categories.
Make it TWO, and let's move on.

Re: Defensive Profiles
My concern with defensive profiles is that our offensive profiles have far more restrictions than them by down. What was nice about the 3 category requirements is it prevented teams from purely using 2 DL defenses on every down unless they did PS, PM & PL. Three categories increased the chance that RR, RM, RL would be called. Going back to 2 categories eliminates any chance of that and basically makes it possible for us to be a league of 2 DL defenses in which everyone uses PS/PM or PM/PL combos.
I'm fine with returning to 2 categories but I think the bigger issue is being overlooked. We should be requiring a run category to be one of the two categories for all 1st and 2nd down situations with >5 min when the score margin is between 7 down and 7 up.
