The idea is not to be tired of the Jets but to figure out how to BEAT the JETS.

Re: Opinion Poll re:Game Shedule
My thoughts are simple. I vote 100% against this.
1. If this is done. I would say I don't want to hear another NFL like again. I am so tired of how loosely this is picked and choose when making choices.
2. If you want to play the better teams in the other conference. My statement is simple get good.
3.If you are a good team and tired of playing the game teams in the other conference. I say stop the crying.
4.I think the current schedule does a lot to keep the balance. There is a reason why there are only 5 current owners that gone to the playoffs back to back seasons.
I like playing Washington twice a year.

Just so people can see.
This is the schedule outline. It is 100% based on how you finish. Schedule are mor e pain in the ass to make then you can imagine.

I vote traditional. Keep it NFL like to complement the Pure in PNFL.
No fantasy schedules, the current format works

It can be done. I've done it. Not often, but have at least once.

Re: Opinion Poll re:Game Shedule
I feel the pain of the AFC East; however, instead of running from the Jets, I prefer to figure out how to beat them. It's the old iron sharpens iron philosophy. When we can get to the point where we can consistently beat the Jets, the whole league will get easier. Learn to knock off the teams that consistently contend for Championships, and the league becomes that much easier.
What may not have been mentioned much here is that we have a very balanced league at the moment with a great deal of parity. At 4-8, I was still in the playoff hunt. There could be a team below .500 this year make the playoffs. These are not necessarily weaknesses. These are the benefits of parity that give the weaker teams hope.
I voted traditional to keep this parity and not try to disrupt the balance that we have. Surely we can find other ways to spice up our schedules instead of changing it outright.

And My humour is suspect at best. Thankfully we have Mitch, who's humour is always suspect.

Might be fun to play every team and just take Chicago off and we're good
Or, how about you play all games inside your conference, 2x vs all 8
A rotation of traditional, play everyone, play only your conference.
I don't see any harm.
