HB Breece Hall R (#9 POT)
82 81 81 82 80 88 88 84
83 81 81 82 81 89 90 85
After Rookie mini-camp the Raiders front office have determined that third round pick Dameon Pierce will eventually be able to take over the lead back role. Las Vegas is not talented enough to maintain investment in two lead backs so the decision has been made to offer HB Hall since he offers the most upfront benefits:
* In a few seasons he will be top 3 in HB potential as 7 of the players above him are age 8-11 and he is only 6 points from reaching full potential right now.
* Play now, pay later (2043 draft). You get to train him and use him immediately and not have to wait a year.
* You know what you're getting upfront instead of hoping the next draft has a good HB class.
* The Raiders drafted him in the first round and paid the 'first round tax' which will not be passed to you. There's no markup, just looking for fair market value.
* You get him on his full 5 year rookie contract from day one. So if you drafted a first rounder (or two) those extended contracts will help save points over the next 5 seasons.
There isn't a rush, but Las Vegas would prefer to trade before training camp so both teams can plan rosters accordingly.
