Poll question

I don't think it is a fair poll. Most coaches haven't had a draft stock draft. I honestly think it would be better with the current coaches. There is a lot more talking. Though I do miss Lee and Erik for their banter.

My concern is, it's very difficult to get everyone to gather at the same time.
I can't get 18 guys to bet on the games and that takes 30 seconds in an email.
I doubt 18 coaches will even respond to this poll.

It might be fun to conduct a "fantasy football" type draft in 3 hours. However, here are my concerns:

- everyone has equal opportunity to participate in a forum draft regardless of time zone or schedules

- even the NFL draft takes 3 days, so taking a few days to complete the draft is fine

- draftstock gives experienced coaches an advantage because of the speed

I think we are nuking it, this isn't something magical or innovative we haven't done before, it's been conducted in the past without the extra rabbit hole concerns about unfair advantages. Even experienced coaches can and have made mistakes.

There's no distinct advantage using draft stock, other than speeding up the process of the most time consuming portion of the off-season.

Dates and times will always conflict with one of 18 coaches schedules. Maybe we need to poll available dates and times that way it gives everyone an opportunity to vote on the date it aligns most with all who can attend.

Forum Draft.

I would be concerned with everyone getting the draftsock to work reliably. I have had enough little quirks just getting the game and apps to work in windows 11.

Also, too many different time zones and schedules.

Might I suggest we all be required to provide an email list at the start of each round? That way, if something comes up and someone gets delayed in posting their pick, the pick can be made fro the list to keep things going?

Actually Draft Stock works well in Windows 10 haven't tested in windows 11. For me the game has been glichy in every 64 bit OS I have used. Heck the game was glichy in Windows 98.

I am completely against requiring a list. List are the worst way to draft and should only be used in emergency.
We all have lives if there is an 8-10 hour break there is an 8-10 hour break. This is a hobby not a job.

I think the biggest advantage is the community of the league.

I disagree I think the speed decreases the advantage experience owners have. I would say in draft stock days. You see experience owners make more mistakes than a person who was already only targeting a few players or a few positions. Experience owners end up overthinking and because of the speed more likely to make a mistake. Inexperience coach most likely would make the same mistake in both drafts.

I like how everyone already assumes no one can make the draft before we have tried. Like I say let's see if we can pick a couple of dates and see when people can make it. Instead of saying it can't happen before we try.
