Practice Squad should be quick and easy at this point.
Since we went to the requirement that only R-1-@ players are put on PS, I have remained mindful of this as soon as we start the off-season to make sure I plan which 10 out of 63 players (or roster total - 53 to decide number on PS) will be on PS with every move, draft pick, FA signing, trade, etc. The last thin I want to do is reach this point after TC and realize holy crap I have 63 players and only 7 of them can be put on PS. Then I'd have to make quick trades or cut 3 players, which is a waste of player value that I drafted, signed as FA or to contracts, or traded for. A good GM doesn't want tpo throw away players of value because of poor roster management.
It also means by this point it's quick and easy to post my PS because it is already decided.
I think I am a fairly average GM. Many of you are really good GMs and I figure doing PS should be easy,

I see the PS as easy as well, but for a different reason. In my opinion, the PS is only for the few late draft picks I draft and players that probably will never make the roster. They at best used as are WR6, LB5, etc down the road. Since points are a mostly finite resource, I never look to have above the best 53 players I can get and sustain. Why waste a point on a player odds are I will never resign or see on my roster. So my PS is just by happen stance only. There is no plan with it.
Yes, I do get in the circumstance where I drafted what I see as decent future depth players and have to decide to cut a vet or PS the player and hope they make it thru FA, but for the most part the PS is just leftovers for me.

For me PS are guys I take a flier on and hold for a couple of seasons for development reasons; however, I'm starting to rethink my roster as the ratings become more varied.

How are you rethinking? I do agree we need to sort out the effects of drafts similar to this seasons. We have been trending this way for 4 seasons or so and Charlie went another step with this one.
