In consultation with the Commissioner of the XFBS, we both strongly agree that PRD defenses should be pass-prevent focused, not pass rush focused. The PNFL developed the PRD folder for the occasional “Hail Mary” pass situation. Steve and I both agree that Hail Mary defenses in the NFL usually set a three-man front, sometimes two, and occasionally four. In reviewing the PRD Folder, several plays are excessively pass-rush. As such, in the off-season, the following plays will be deleted from the PRD Folder, all having 5, 6, 7, or 8 defenders rushing the QB:

EB4prv30; ORpd20BZ; SSpd302A; SSpd400A; and SSpd403A.

If you have the desire to be pass rush oriented for Hail Mary situation, there is an abundance of such plays in the Pass Long (PL) and Pass Medium (PM) Folders. If you want an abundance of defenders down field to defend against the "bomb" then stick with the PRD and R&S PRD Folders.

Note: Starting next season, Custom PRD defenses will be restricted to no more than four defenders (DLs, LBs and/or DBs) rushing or attempting to sack the QB.
