I don't think data is required to know the PNFL has incredibly low injuries and penalties compared to the NFL.
The question is, do the coaches have an appetite to change it.

That's not the data I was interested in gathering. I was interested in determining if we go with lower EN what is the breaking point for too low where we have guys with 40 SP running around during a game.

@Dean - how were the injuries in the PCFL this season - the league has quite a few players below PNFL-level ENs on depth charts

Wouldn't it be easier just to require a different sub % than to change everyone's EN? Plus, starters would be left in the game longer and would be the ones more likely to be injured. By lowering everyone's EN, backups play just as much as starters so injuries would be far more spread out.

Want more injuries? Just require larger spread of sub IN/OUT percentages. That should make stats more realistic too.
Want more penalties? Spread out DI, and it's possible sub % could have an effect as well.
Want more diversity? Increase the spread of player rankings. (Although I understand more now about why we don't, despite the frustration of it.) I wouldn't be surprised if that also increases injuries and/or penalties.
Be careful... you sound like me...

I have to say I have no desire to increase injuries. Yes, it is more realistic, but realism doesn't always equal more fun. On paper it looks like it is more fun, but a couple key injuries when you are having a good season will lead to just frustration. As a person that lives in Michigan. Injures most likely cost the Lions a great shot at a Super Bowl a few years ago. Charlie, I am sure, can attest to how frustrating injuries are as a Niners fan. There are already enough RNG feel-bad moments in the game not to add more. Let's focus on beating each other as coaches.
