I suppose we could gauge the coaches as the season progresses, check the calendar and make a decision on the fly.
I do think teams like the bye week (rest)
I just think doing it too late defeats the purpose.
It's supposed to be a refresher for all 18 coaches, not just the playoff teams if its done in week 12-13-14.
