This needs to be tested: What happens to PRD completion % if only allowed in Hail Mary situations? Meaning Defense will very likely (always?) be in Pass Dazzle. This will likely lower completion %, but by how much? Anyone care to sim?

Only posted as a data point. Passes this long are actually rarely used in the NFL because of the %. They do not pay to use. There is a point where it pays though. Kinda like the 3 point shot in the NBA. Our PRD isn't quite there, but it is part of the discussion I think. I do think some teams use it too much to there own demise, but as as been noted, not my issue to save someone else. I really only care about the commish sim aspect of not being able to adjust during the game or play call itself.

The question is how much of a potential issue is it to be able to do it on 3rd and short situations (0-1 & 2-5)? I'm only wondering if we just need to get it out of those areas and leave the rest or do we need to turn it 100% into the end of the game under a minute or something. I suspect there are some thoughts out there that it not an issue on 2nd 10+ and 3rd 3-10 + as the D has some reasonable chance to counter which just does not exist at 3rd and 2.
