As you all have read, there is a heavy focus lately in the PNFL Gazette on the perceived decline in the qualtiy of football play we are seeing On Friday Night Lights on Discord. Coaching hasn't suddenly dropped off, not even with the addition of a first-year PNFL coach who is putting a respectably coimpettitve team on the field so far. The consensus of the discussion we had in the pre-show as well as on This Week in the PNFL seems to be that recent changes made, the 95 OUT rule on subsitution, the increased allowed usage of 2-DL defensive plays, the purging over older FA from the FA pool, and the increased differentiation of players ratings is likely the cause of the changes we are seeing. All of these changes, if I can sound like James, have been done without much testing or assessment of their affect. I think there was general agreement on, for now, putting the brakes on further changes. I'm usually the one saying We Must Embrace Change, but at this time a more Jerry like "let's hold off in making more changes" direction is more indicated by what we're seeing.

Re: SUB% and injuries
I am not a fan of legislating mediocrity, which is what this forced sub percentage max feels like right now.
I was quick to jump on board for a test season but I don’t know that I’ll be in support of keeping it across the board next year. I think at the very least the cap should be removed for RBs and RECs to improve realism.

I agree to a point. Justin may very well have a valid point, but I want to see data for a whole season before we jump to any conclusions.

I must be missing something - how does removing the cap improve realism?
With a cap set as high as 95, HBs and WRs rotate out every play in the 4th quarter. It's irrelevant for plays to specify which RB gets the ball because it'll be whichever is the least tired because all of them are at or below 95%.
