You might want to think about that.
If any team offers the player a point to sign with their active roster their contract is void and even if you match they only have a 1 season contract.

No one in their right mind would want these players right now because their actuals are so low; It's not like they were my 2nd round pick. Every season I've been a part of a few guys like this get drafted. Plus, don't most 5th, 6th, and 7th rounders end up in a practice squad?

I get the risk of PS and I'm fine it's not off limits. In fact, I'm fine with the rule, just start it in 6 or 7 seasons since it impacts the draft we just completed.

Intriguing idea. Love that the player simply becomes more experienced through training camp. To make it work, there would be no room for growth in rookie actuals and potentials for SP, AC, AG, ST, HA, and EN. IN and DI would be closer to league minimums for IN & DI with potentials closer to league maximums.

Example:
CB
82 83 85 59 95 86 55 60
82 83 85 59 95 86 91 88

Post draft boosts would only be made to SP, AC, AG, ST, HA, or EN.

Cool idea. Worth considering.

Most PS worthy rookies get 4 season contracts so maybe 3 season from now. LOL

Already planning to re-sign with XR after 4 seasons. Don't you all plan ahead like this? ;)

Did you read the XR proposal? After 4 season could be to old for XR.

I don't want them and I think we need to make a rule that Jerry can't sign anyone or draft before round 4 until I catch up on talent.

While I do think our PS rules allow stashing (Denver :D ), I only actually think the rules need to change if we try to discourage XR bidding. I think the XR is already too lenient with two free three year contracts, but don't see a reason to change anything either way.

One change to the PS that could occur is going 6-4 versus 7-3 in vets versus young. Not trying to go NFL Justin :D . Well maybe a little. The NFL is up to 17 PS. That is just too much trouble in my opinion. The 10 is good, but depending on how you round the % you could change the ratio to be closer to the NFL ration of vested type players

Going 6-4 would be even more reason to not change the XR or PS rules as we have been discussing. 6-4 allows more stashing for the Broncos. :ugeek:

I am pro getting rid of the contracts and going full taxi squad in the contract file we divided everyone up just keep track of it in the contract file. Every draft goes until all players are gone.1930s football when football was football right.
