The current Atlanta Falcons teams was initially Detroit after the great Washington-Detroit teams swap of 2024. The team became Atlanta and made the playoffs in 2024. A few seasons later, that team moved to become a Tennessee Titans for one season before moving to Pittsburgh for several seasons and then moving to Kansas City for a few seasons, only to return to Atlanta in 2041. That 2041 team found lightning in a bottle and made the playoffs.
with all the team moves going on, it seems like the cards will be shuffled and dealt again as several teams could be moving in this upcoming off-season. So is Atlanta moving yet again?
The answer is no, the team will remain in Atlanta and go forward with a new roster development plans and a revamping of the game plans on offense and defense to become more competitive in 2044. Washington remains the team to beat in the NFC while there is no clear second place team in the division.
