VOTE: Change the max DB limit on RR defensives from 4DB to 5 DB

Plays with only 4 DBs would not be illegal under this rule change, therefore they would not need to be changed. The change would just allow, not mandate, the use of 5 DBs in any new RR plays.

I looked up the original VPNFL rules for RR and RRD. It said 8 run focused players and 4 DBs for RR and 7 run focused players and 4 DBs for RRD.

So maybe it’s simply a typo? All that would need to be done is make it 8 run focused players for RR?

Been talking with Charlie. This proposal is withdrawn. RR will still have a max of 4 DBs per the original VPNFL rules. Charlie would prefer to create distinction between RR and RRD based on the number of run focused players. He is leaning toward RRD requiring 8 run focused defenders and RR requiring 7.
