Injured Reserve
1. A player must be injured at least 4 weeks to be eligible for IR.
2. Teams are allowed to return a maximum of eight players from the IR during the season.
3. A player can be designated to return a maximum of two times during the season, with both counting towards the team’s grand total of eight designations allowed.
4. Players are eligible to return from the IR after four games have elapsed since being placed on the list.
5. Teams have 1 week after player on IR heals to return to the active roster. If not, he becomes ineligible for the rest of the season.
6. A player on the IR list counts 10% against the salary cap (pnfl currently has no cap) but not against the 53-man/63-man roster limit.
7. The process for reporting a player being placed on IR is to create a new thread on the forum in the "Practice Squad List" section. Write the player's name with (IR) next to it. You also must post your entire/current Practice squad since all these players reside in the IR section of the game.
