I know this has been an issue of controversy but I think our rules should allow 4 defenders in bump and run with out delay. The reason is simple, the heavy usage of four receivers in the passing game. I understand the reason for not using 5 without delay and I'm not suggesting that. Otherwise, if only 3 are allowed then we should limit passing plays to 3 WRs max and that would be clearly more unrealistic than a DB getting into the backfield on a blitz play, which does happen in real life football.
Opinions? Please discuss.

There are too many plays that have three or two receivers, which would allow the 4th DB to blitz into the backfield to bump the HB or FB, which is not realistic in the NFL. The game has limitations. Not going to change this one.
