Realizing I just pulled a move reminiscent of Dean's Justin Fields cut by cutting QB Lock after he cost us the game and then seeing the Vikings grab him with a full 1 point bid before the 24 hours lapsed. Yes, I know my defense was more to blame for the loss than Lock. Never doing anything so impulsive like that again though. Enjoy him, Barney. Last freebie anyone gets from me.

Now, I move forward with Kizer 100%. He was benched in favor of Lock for his awful performance vs the Jets. Plus I needed to see what Lock could do. Lock looked super solid in the pocket compared to Kizer, but had a ton of knockdowns and an INT just like Kizer so I'm sensing it's a much larger problem I need to solve. At least signing WR Gage will provide Kizer another target.

Oh and the Patriots need to give Finley a lot more credit after that performance he had. Learn from Dean and me. Keep him. Give him a longer chance to prove himself.

NE has had back to back POTW with 2 different QBs. Ha!

Ultimately, I'm never acquiring any QB with less than 87 EN going forward. Lock became weak armed in OT on the road when he threw that INT. That 84 EN kicked in for sure. Plus he seemed dead in the water the entire 2nd half. I can move on from this easily. I have Kizer. He's gotta ring.

For the record, Fields wasn't cut. he was traded for the equivalent of two 2nd round picks.

Finley was solid oin that game. Prescott is moving up in the QB ratings too.

Higher EN is key for QBs because of the low sub number for QBs that is required by league rules.

Meaning my cut of Lock was a far worse crime. After the King’s Ransom and this latest move, I think we can crown me as one of the worst GMs in the league. Thankfully all the players are the same according to Mitch so much ado about nothing really.
