Idea about league balance

Postby Dean-Atlanta » Thu Oct 08, 2020 10:27 pm

Right now our 18 teams include 11 teams that are NFC in the NFL, and 7 AFC teams. Both the CPU teams (New Orleans and Philadelphia) are NFC teams. If those are changed to AFC teams in this upcoming off-season, the PNFL will be balanced at NINE each AFC and NFC teams.

All true....
But, it is not worth the trouble to juggle these teams each season because it creates instability with the league files.
Plus, it would be adding 2 open teams to the AFC where we just added 2 new coaches making the AFC much weaker than the NFC.
Add to that, Matt in Jacksonville has submitted retirement papers which I have so far rejected.
He is looking to take a break and likely return and I would like him to stay.
So, if he were to go, that would make 3 open teams in the AFC, 1 coach with 1 season experience.
It would mean moving a 4-0 coach to the NFC.
Likely mean a complete rebalancing.

None of this is happening :)
