Time for some football

Postby Jerry-Redskins » Sat Sep 12, 2020 1:55 pm

We're about to enter game week. Week 1. The biggest crap shoot of the season. Should be fun. Three new coaches and some vet players released and retired. This will make for an intriguing season I think,

I look forward in seeing what the least expensive roster in the league can do this season.

Yeah, it should be a fun season for my Jags and that least expensive roster in the league can do this season.

Actually, unless I read the contract file incorrectly, my Raiders are the least expensive team in the league.

I have
Oak 191m
Jax 182m

I cut a guy at 5 mil so I'm now at 177 with my practice squad. Now, that doesn't account for your PS which will have an impact. It'll be close either way.

I will have to review the contract file again. I thought my salaries were under $180M. Either, I'm a cheap owner. No hot tubs or massage tables in our locker room.

Everyone is wondering. Will it be the Chiefs, the Jags or the Raiders that grab QB McGloin for a 0 point bid? Only teams left with the cap space for a $20M QB.

Patriots also have cap room.

We're set for awhile. Rosen is going to get a big extension this year and is our Franchise QB.

If I had the cap space, I would have already grabbed him. He has 3 more seasons left. I'd need to trade CB Doss ($13M) to even make it a possibility, but most teams are quite set and unwilling to trade for Doss' draft pick value.
