Seattle at Oakland - I can neither confirm nor deny that Coach Jack Daniels is the new Oakland offensive coordinator. Seattle serves up opening day Humble Pie II and scores the upset with tough defense and a newly effective balanced offense.

Denver at Los Angeles - LA opens at home with a solid win over Denver to begin their defense of the AFC West title.
