AFC is a mess NFC has 5 good teams.

Postby James-Eagles » Sat Nov 22, 2025 5:17 pm

Only 4 teams have 8 or more wins out of 12 and only 1 teams has 9 losses. The rest are between 7-4-1 and 4-8 3.5 games behind with 4 to play.

AFC Baltimore has the west and is 2 wins or beating Miami from clinching home field

Miami will clinch the AFC east and most likely 2nd seat.(Baltimore plays 3 teams below .500)

Rest is a mess everyone is within 2.5 games of the 3 seed and 2 games out of the 4th with 4 to play everyone is in it

Right now that is
3. Denver 6-5-1
4. Cincinnati 6-6
5. Pittsburgh 5-6-1
6. Jacksonville 5-7 (Had tiebreaker over LV)
7. Las Vegas 5-7
8. New England 4-7-1
9. Buffalo 4-8
everyone is only at most a .5 game behind the team above them.

NFC
Only thing we can say for sure is Philadelphia has been eliminated from the playoffs.

San Francisco is eliminated if they loss to Atlanta.
Seattle and Green Bay are eliminated if they lose and Washington and Atlanta win

NFC East
there is only 1.5 games seperating the top 3 teams
Atlanta and Washington have the tie Breaker over New York
So New York is more like 2 games out and 1.5 out of 2nd. With Minnesota also haven't the tiebreaker against them. New York most likely have to finish second.

NFC West
Green Bay can win the division but they need Minnesota and Chicago to tie each other and lose the rest of their games
With Minnesota and Chicago tied it is up in the air
The rest of the divison is eagerly awaiting Charlies Draft pool release.

NFC
1. Minnesota 8-4
2. Chicago 8-4
3. Washington 7-4-1(Currenty 2 seed)
4. Atlanta 7-5
5. New York 6-6
6. Green Bay 5-7
7. San Fran 4-8
8. Seattle 4-8

If Baltimore(Green Bay) , Washington(Philadelphia), Minnesota(Seattle) and Atlanta(San Fran)(all playing teams below .500) win Green Bay, Seattle and San Fran will be eliminated. If Chicago also beats New York New York will be 1 game from elimination( if Washington and Atlanta get a second win or New York Gets a second loss.

Current Draft order( Reminder all ties count as .5 for record and winning percent)

1. Philadelphia 3-9
2. Seattle 4-8 (63-67-2)
3. Buffalo 4-8 (63-66-3)
4. San Fran 4-8 (56-50-2)
5. New England 4-7-1
6. Green Bay 5-7 (56-62-2)
7. Las Vegas 5-7 (71-69-4)
8. Jacksonville 5-7(63-54-3)
9. Pittsburgh 5-6-1
10. New York 6-6

Once again we have reached the time in the season when many teams face must-win games and possible elimination from making post season.

The question remains, outside of 11-1 Baltimore coached by The Headless Horseman, do we have the other 178 teams showing parity or mediocrity this season?

Can anyone other than Chicago beat The Headless Horseman this season?

Don't they kind of mean the same. If I look at logically. If Baltimore is going 11-1 I would say is more a sign that the top has regressed more than the bottom has gotten better.

Baltimore is 11-1 because they have been playing the bottom teams. They have only played two teams above .500 and they lost to Chicago and beat Denver though Denver is barely above .500. The fact that the lower half of the league can't beat Baltimore at all. I would say that means they have progessed as far as people like to think(including me). That means if we are close to the top teams that is because top teams are fall to the pack. This means there is a lot of bad football.

Not much has changed... Jerry, Barney, Justin and I are leading the way. The vacant team is beating all the historically below .500 teams like Thomas used to do.

The beat rolls on...

Until I'm proven wrong, I see Chicago vs. Baltimore in the Super Bowl.

Mitch, you lost TWO 21 point games to headless horseman coached Denver before Neil Joined and moved the team to Las Vegas, so I do not have confidence you're beating Baltimore in post-season. I see a 10-6, or 13-10 type loss for the Dolphins. Denver lost to The Headless Horseman, a rematch of that game could go either way. If Brian puts in the effort he could go to the Super Bowl.

Chicago and Minnesota are both 8-4 but Chi is just about as good as Minn on defense and much better on offense.

MInn and Chicago still play each other, and Minn plays Washington. Lots of potential for chaos in the NFC still left in the last 4 weeks.

One thing is different is the top teams are losing games they normally win easy. I think the below .500 teams are slightly better but the above .500 teams have gotten worse.

My money is on Denver and Chicago.
