FBPro and relationships...

Postby Dean-Atlanta » Mon Aug 05, 2024 11:34 pm

While searching for something in my old PNFL emails, I found this exchange in a league wide email:

Someone wrote this:

"My divorce was 12 years ago. She told me later that one of the reasons she got sick of being with me was "Because you wouldn't stop playing FBPRO." After the divorce, I made it my personal mission to play FBPRO until I met and married someone one else or the game died before that. Am I being somewhat spiteful with this goal? Yeah .."

To which someone else responded:

"It's the women's fault if FBPRO gives you more pleasure than she does."

Maybe she should have taken up FBPro and joined us here...

My ex wife said the same thing years ago.

I'm quite sure several guys who retired over the years were given an ultimatum by a spouse: the game or the marriage

LOL! My (second) wife bought the game for me for Christmas in 1998! I found the VPNFL shortly after, and it transitioned to the PNFL. After 25+ years, she knows I will spend time on the game and the golf course.
