If we set a 12-hour time limit, most owners aren't going to use anywhere close to that full time, unless they're asleep, at work, or trying really hard to make a trade. Most of us (Walt being the main exception) are going to keep somewhat the same hours anyways, so we're not gonna care that the guy...

To be clear, I like having a cap, and rules about its implementation. They've been developed with league-wide input over time and I think most of us understand the benefits of having one.
