I would recommend to Dan to try moving those plays to a different section of the game plan till the end of the season and see if the plays that replace the GLP plays get called out of their normal situations.

This is something like the injury idea that we could open up next season and if the stats fall to a level we can't live with we can always revisit next offseason. I say we try opening it up for a season and see how it goes.

What should our rule be for 2-DL defensive plays?

1) unlimited use of 2-DL plays in PS, PM, PL and PRD categories
2) 50% max 2-DL plays in PS, PM, PL and PRD categories
3) 50% max 2-DL plays in PS and PM with unlimited usage in PL and PRD
4) No changes

Alternatively, we could repurpose RunDazzle as defenses to use inside the 5 yard line and recategorize all the GLX plays to RunDazzle. This would also allow us to make RR 8 man run focused pressure style defenses and help differentiate RunDazzle and RunRight

I've always viewed these as being similar to Barry Odom's defense rushing 3 and dropping 8. I'd be in favor of allowing 2 dl plays generously in all passing categories.

So effectively, we are talking a full repeal of the 2-DL play rules we went to years ago? I’d be in favor of that.
