I think the more plays the better. Don't see any reason to erase legal plays that have been created. This won't stop anyone from winning by simming practices. If a play is not effective you can simply not practice against it and it will save you the same amount of time that erasing it from the pool ...

Matt makes a fair point, that if we all essentially play the same schedule, how do we then justify taking any conference or division standings into account when picking playoff teams?

I can see it both ways. I think the 2 divisional games are important for deciding who wins the division. It builds a sense of rivalry with your own specific divison. I agree with Matt. The NFL SHOULD have smarter more disciplined players who miss fewer tackles and give up fewer big plays. I really noticed an enormous difference when scouting this draft from the last time I was in the league, and I think that is the best route to continue on with
