Re: Tight Ends Utility

I TE I suggested is NOT a "super player" it is still a total 682 TE but it is more of a pass catcher and less of a blocker, hence the lower ST and re-allocating some of those points to SP and/or AC and/or HA and creating a TE that is more of a receiver staying within our ratings model. Ac...

Re: Tight Ends Utility

Have you seen Kelce? Not exactly an agility and speed type of TE. He simply towers over and runs over defenders and has huge HAnds for catching the ball. I think what we have is quite reflective of NFL TEs. In fact, I'd reduce their AG to a max of 79 similar to their SP. They can ACcelerate quickly...

Re: Tight Ends Utility

@Dean - I think in concept what you shared makes sense. However, if we begin creating "Super Players" at TE (above their MAX), when will the request come for other positions like LB, S, DE, DT, etc. Maybe that's a direction we decide to go as a league. However, we need to think of the cons...

Re: Tight Ends Utility

Here is one of my TEs, he's ablocker: O TE2 89 Luke Schoonmaker OK 1 0-0 0 74 84 84 90 88 85 89 88 682 If we created a pass catching TE that would still be 682 total andnot too highly rated: 80 88 88 72 92 85 89 88 682 That TE would be a true receiver and offensive threat. AC and AG too high

Re: Tight Ends Utility

We just had a little mention in our pnfl chat how tight ends don't reflect the real value in the NFL. Somebody mentioned they were nerfed at some time (which is way before me), but at this point they're really only good for blocking. If we want to be more NFL realistic, maybe the more astute coache...

Re: 40 yard dash ratings

@Dean - I created a play in the PE that had both slot WR run 40 yards straight up the field - I edited the player's ratings as shown in my previous post - I ran the play several times focused on one of the players using a stopwatch to clock the times - I averaged out the times for the player to come...

Re: 40 yard dash ratings

I only adjusted the SP rating. All the other ratings stayed the same.

Re: 40 yard dash ratings

I have a typo in the Player C and D ratings. The AC should be 86 for both players.

40 yard dash ratings

To help coaches relate "real-life" 40 yard dash times to our FBPRO SP ratings, I put together an experiment in the play editor. Here's are the results: Player A - 84 SP 86 AC 91 AG 66 ST 91 EN 95 IN 95 DI Player B - 80 SP 86 AC 91 AG 66 ST 91 EN 95 IN 95 DI Player C - 76 SP 96 AC 91 AG 66 ...
