This seems to work with my XP laptops with working, built in CD-ROMs. My XP laptop with an external CD-ROM still asks for the CD on certain screens.

The FAQ tells you how to shut off play-by-play, but it doesn't tell you that you need to shut it off in order for CDNeeded=No to work. @Brian Ahhh! Ok, now that is something I didn't know.
